St. Joseph's Academy Remembers Joplin Tornado Victims
Students collect for St. Mary's Catholic School, effected directly by the storm.

Many of the students at St. Joseph's Academy celebrated spirit week this week by collecting donations for St. Mary's Catholic School in Joplin. The school was directly in the path of the devastating tornado that ravaged Joplin the end of May.
The students had a pasta luncheon and several activities and collected $1,500 for the school. Donations were also collected at a recent field hockey game with Villa Duchesne.
The students presented a check to school officials who in turn will purchase physical education equipment destroyed by the E-5 tornado.
