What Would You Like To Come To The Lammert's Center In Ladue

Petco's space in Olivette needs a tenant too.

When we put this up for discussion, we simply did not get enough comments. There were a couple of suggestions, a restaurant, etc. but we need more. Put on your thinking cap and tell us in the comments section what you'd like to see fill vacancies at the Lammert Center in Ladue.

Ladue, just like other communities has suffered the effects of a stubborn recession and the city has far too many business vacancies for its own good.

The biggest eyesore are the numerous spaces open at the Lammert's Center on Ladue Road at Gay Avenue. Other than Splash, Southwestern Hearing Center and Kinkos, everything is up for grabs. Word is from the St. Louis Business Journal, The Original Pancake House will move into the old Lammert space this spring.

We would like you, the readers and consumers to suggest some tenants for the Lammert Center.

Would you like to see an independent market where Wild Oats used to do business? How about more restaurants, some more men's or women's clothing stores? What would you like to see come into the center? We are open to your suggestions. Just fill in the comment box below.

At the same time, Ladue Crossing needs a new tenant for the abandoned Office Max location next door to Spicer's. What should go in that rather large space.

Olivette has plenty of openings too. None is more glaring than the anchor space vacated by Petco in the Olivette Shopping Center. What do you think would fit nicely into that space.

We need suggestions, and we will forward your ideas to business planners and city officials alike.
