1 Store Opening in Brentwood, 1 in Maplewood on Friday

Stores offering women's apparel and doughnuts will open their doors.

Lane Bryant will open its Brentwood Promenade store on Friday, according to the Wall Street Journal. Lane Bryant, the plus size apparel merchant, offers "fashion for everyday and style just for you." Shoppers from Friday to Saturday can win a $25 gift card.

In Maplewood, Strange Donuts, at 2709 Sutton Boulevard, announced their long-awaited opening earlier this week: it’s Friday at 6 a.m.

According to Feast Magazine, the shop will offer “traditional” donuts such as glazed and Boston cream, and out of the box creations, like apple bacon, red velvet and chocolate peanut butter.

Friday and Saturday night (they’ll be open Thursday through Saturday from 9 p.m. to whenever) will be the debut of their first “Stranger,” a chicken and waffle creation made with Porter’s Fried Chicken.
