27-Year-Old Man Steals $180 in Alcohol, Flat Screen TV Walks

March 16-19
Police are investigating several incidents which took place in the 7400 block of Elm. The first incident involved a yard ornament stolen from the front yard of a residence in the overnight hours of March 16. The other incidents involved someone using chalk to write obscene remarks on the playground equipment of Central Park and a vehicle parked in the 7400 block of Elm.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting approximately $180 in alcohol from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was also wanted by another agency on a failure to appear warrant.

A business burglary occurred between 5:15 and 5:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Greenwood. A flat screen television was stolen in the burglary.
March 24
A 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic assault for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, which occurred in the 7200 block of Lyndover. Â A computer inquiry of the male suspect revealed he had several active warrants.
