Police: Sexual Assault in Brentwood is Similar to St. Louis Case

Brentwood police believe an abduction and rape that occurred in south St. Louis on Monday may be linked to a similar attack that happened in Brentwood in early March, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Police are trying to determine if the sexual assault of a woman in Brentwood is related to a similar case in south St. Louis, according to a Friday article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website.

On March 9, a woman parked on Bremerton Road was abducted by three men and later raped at , the article notes. The suspect descriptions and weapons match a similar case that occurred in south St. Louis on April 16, said Steve Disbennett, chief of the , in the Post-Dispatch article.

Three suspects are in custody and face 16 charges.
