Clay-Carnahan Debate Airs Monday on KMOX; Brennan to Moderate
Both men are seeking to become the Democratic Party's candidate for 1st District U.S. Representative.
The first live debate between Democratic candidates Russ Carnahan and William Lacy Clay will air Monday on KMOX 1120 AM, a news release from the radio station states. The two are opponents in the Aug. 7 primary for 1st District U.S. Representative.
is in the 1st District, the district contested by Carnahan and Clay. is in the 2nd District.
“This race has turned contentious and the public needs to hear some straight answers," stated radio personality Charlie Brennan, who will moderate the event from 10 to 11 a.m. as part of The Charlie Brennan Show. Brennan is a Clayton resident.
The candidates will get one minute to answer each question posed to them. If one candidate mentions his opponent during an answer, his opponent will get 30 seconds to respond.
