Elderly Brentwood Man Found Dead Outside St. Mary's

An elderly Brentwood resident was found deceased inside his vehicle outside SSM St. Mary's Health Center Thursday, according to reports

Richmond Heights Police told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch they believe the man was trying to make it into the hospital's emergency room. Richmond Heights Police Maj. Rich Zweifel told the Post, "it doesn't appear foul play was involved."

The man was spotted about 4 a.m. Thursday by St. Louis paramedics who were in the process of restocking their vehicle after dropping off another patient. 

Neil Kiesel, communication director at St. Mary's Health Center, told the Post the man hadn't been a patient at the hospital.

The name of the man has not yet been released.
