6 Shoplifting Reports in 9 Days at Galleria

All reports were from Macy's and H and M.

The Richmond Heights Police Department reported these incidents on its website.

Saturday, Feb. 2

  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a juvenile for suspicion of stealing $119 in merchandise. The juvenile was arrested and later released to a parent.

  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained two subjects for suspicion of stealing $339 in merchandise. Both subjects were arrested and held for municipal warrant application.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

  • Galleria security identified and detained a juvenile subject that was a known trespasser.  The juvenile was arrested and later conveyed to the County juvenile detention center.

  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security had detained two juveniles for suspicion of stealing $154 in clothing merchandise.  The juveniles were arrested and later released to their parents.

Saturday, Feb. 9

  • Officers responded to H and M where security had detained a subject for suspicion of stealing $171 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and held pending a muni warrant application.
  • Officers responded for the report of a stolen mobile phone. Investigation revealed the location of the subject still in the mall. The subject was arrested and later released on a muni court summons.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security had detained two subjects for suspicion of stealing $104 in clothing merchandise.  Both subjects were arrested and later released on muni court summonses.

Sunday, Feb. 10

  • Officers responded to H and M where security had detained a juvenile for suspicion of stealing $102 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and transported to the County juvenile detention center.
