Huffy Bicycle Stolen, Later Found in Webster Groves

Tuesday, Feb. 21

At 7:15 a.m. police responded to the 2600 block of Salem Avenue for a found bicycle. A Schwinn 10-speed was found in the caller’s driveway. The bike was taken to the police station.

An officer responded to the 2500 block of Mary Avenue for the theft of a green Huffy bicycle. Later in the day, the bicycle was found during an investigation in Webster Groves, and returned to the owner.

At 9 a.m. police responded to the 8100 block of Florence for the theft of an Ipod taken from an unlocked vehicle.

At 9:45 a.m. officers responded to the 2600 block of Salem Drive for a report of a purse that had been taken from an unlocked vehicle. The purse, emptied, was later found in a neighbor's trash can on Salem.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

At 3:30 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle in the 2600 block of High School Drive for several traffic offenses. Investigation later determined that the driver was intoxicated. The 29-year-old man was arrested for DWI.

Sunday, Feb. 26

At 9:45am, an officer responded to a residence in the 8900 block of Powell Avenue because someone had thrown a golf ball through a window of the residence.
