Lincoln Stolen from 7300 Block of Maple Avenue: Maplewood Crime Report

June 3 - 5

• Someone stole lawn equipment from a garage in the 2500 block of Bellevue Avenue.

June 4

• A silver Ford Escape with a heavily damaged front windshield, driven by a described Hispanic man in his 20s, is suspected of hitting a car from behind at a high speed then leaving the scene. The accident happened at approximately 2:55 p.m. on north-bound Hanley Road. No injuries were reported.

June 6

• A 1999 Lincoln Navigator was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 7300 block of Maple  Avenue between 12 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
• Approximately $600 was reported stolen from a residence in the 7700 block of Folk.  
• Officers reponded to a reported fight in progress, and arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected assault, peace disturbance, and failure to comply. A subsequent investigation revealed the man threw an alcoholic beverage in a woman's face and also shoved her. The woman reported no injuries.
