'Party in the Patch' Planned Friday

The annual fall celebration for families is a collaboration among the parks departments of Clayton, Richmond Heights and Maplewood.

The annual celebration planned Friday night at 's will feature a hay ride, meals for youngsters and more.

The event runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the parks departments of Clayton, and Maplewood, an email alert from community center states. In addition to the hay ride along a torch-lit trail, there will be a bounce house, carnival games and hot dog meals for children who register. Additional dinners are available for purchase.

In the event of rain, the event will happen at . A decision about where to hold the event will be made by noon Friday.

Registration for children ages 1 to 12 costs $7 through Thursday. Registration on the day of the event costs $10 per child. Participants ages 13 and older attend for free.
