Police: Jewelry, Firearm Stolen From Flora Avenue Home

July 9

• A 20-year-old man was arrested in the 2200 block of Yale Avenue for suspision of possesing marijuana after officers responded to the area for a fireworks call.
• A 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old man in the 2500 block of Big Bend engaged in a verbal argument. Both were issued a summons for affray.
• A 46-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested for suspision of shoplifting approximately $400 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons Business.

July 11

• Jewelry and a firearm were reported stolen in the 7600 block of Flora Avenue. The burglary occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.  Anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area are asked to call the at 314-645-3000 or the anonymous tip line at 314-781-3733.

July 12

• A tire and rim were reported stolen off a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of Yale Avenue. The reported theft occurred between July 8-12.

July 13

• A 46-year-old man was arrested for third degree domestic assault in the area of Manchester and Big Bend. The man is suspected of assaulting his wife while they were driving. The woman was able to pull over into a parking lot and contact police.
• A rear window of a vehicle was reportedly broken out in the 2500 block of Laclede Station Road. It occurred between 7 p.m. on July 13 and 2 p.m. on July 14.
