RFT: Boogaloo the Best in St. Louis for Happy Hour, After-Dinner Drinks
The Maplewood eatery also received honors in Riverfront Times' Restaurants 2013 guide for its cajun cooking and tapas offerings.
Maplewood is home to many beloved watering holes (not to mention a little brewery called Schlafly), but it's Boogaloo that's won bragging rights as the St. Louis area's Favorite Happy Hour and Favorite After-Dinner Drink in RFT's Restuarants 2013 guide.
RFTÂ notes the restaurant's liberal happy hour (that lasts until 7 p.m. on weekdays), Caribbean-influenced cocktails, and "greats with unexpected twists."
"Boogaloo is a spot that's practically tailor-made for an after-dinner drink," according to the publication.

Boogaloo beat out Broadway Oyster Bar in both categories. The restaurant also received the following honors in this year's guide:
- 2nd Favorite Cajun/Creole
- 2nd Favorite Bread Pudding
- 4th Favorite Tapas
