The Living Celebrate the Day of the Dead in Maplewood
There's a celebration at Maya Cafe, in Maplewood.
The Torture Chamber Orchestra plays at Maya Cafe every Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) and April Fools Day.
The players are all musicians of some sort, but play instruments they don't normally play, or are just learning to play. The result is that they sound like a very dedicated seventh-grade band.
At the Maya on Friday they dressed for the occasion.
