After two years of service, in downtown Maplewood has closed its doors.
The announcement was made on the restaurant's Facebook page on Thursday afternoon. No reason was given for the closing and no one could immediately be reached for comment.
The entry reads:

"I am sad to say that The Red Lion has closed. I would like to thank everyone who helped make it such a great place for two years!! We all had a great time and hopefully you all had as much fun as we did!!

The Red Lion, which featured a and draft beers, first opened in 2009.
