Two Charged in Connection With Brentwood Burglaries
The man and woman are from the Kansas City area, and are currently being held by St. Louis County police.
A man and woman from the Kansas City area have been charged in connection with two home burglaries in Brentwood, notes a news release from the .
Cameron Bennett, 23, from Kansas City, KS, and Veronica Smith, 20, from Overland Park, KS, were arrested on Feb. 6 on suspicion of stealing from a home in the 2400 block of Bremerton Road.
Brentwood police believed the pair had just exited the home when they were discovered by Sgt. Jeff Manestar. Police investigated the area after a tip from a resident, the news release notes.

Brentwood police believe the two are responsibile for another home burglary in the 2100 block of Hatton Avenue, which occurred on Jan. 20.
Bennett and Smith were charged with stealing more than $500. The bond for both is $50,000.
