Warrant Issued in Pizza Delivery Robbery in Maplewood

The armed robbery occurred on Oct. 11.

A delivery driver for in Maplewood was robbed two weeks ago in the 2800 block of Laclede Station Road.

Just before 10 p.m. on Oct. 11, the delivery driver's wallet was stolen, along with roughly $50, credit cards and a driver's license. The perpetrator used a knife during the standup, according to police documents.

Warrants have been issued for Ricco Griffith on charges of first-degree robbery, stated Lt. Mark Griffin of the in an email to Patch.

Griffith, a 21-year-old man from Maplewood, has previously appeared in court in 2008 for charges of tampering with motor vehicles and the unlawful use of a weapon, according to court documents posted on Missouri Case.net. He pled guilty to both charges.

The previous information was obtained through the Missouri Sunshine Law from the Maplewood Police Department. Arrests and/or charges do not indicate a conviction.
