What's Closed on Presidents Day?

Presidents Day, also recognized as George Washington's Birthday, is a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February each year. That falls on Monday, February 20 this year.

Because it is a federal holiday, many offices are closed in Maplewood and Brentwood. Here's a list of closings:

• Brentwood and Maplewood Richmond Heights schools
• Brentwood and Maplewood city halls
• Brentwood and Maplewood public libraries
• Most banks, including Regions Bank in Brentwood and Citizens National Bank in Maplewood
• Brentwood Recreation Complex is closed, but the ice arena is open

The U.S. Postal Service won't run on Monday either.

Trash service in Brentwood and Maplewood won't be affected by the holiday next week.
