4,000 in Oakville Without Power

More than 4,000 people in Oakville and 1,900 people in Mehlville are without power Sunday night as the hot weather breaks into a thunderstorm. 

Ameren Missouri reports 4,028 are without power in the 63129 zip code, 1,940 are without power in 63125 and 1,253 are without power in 63128 as of 9 p.m.

Officials estimate power will be restored between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Temperatures in Oakville are around 73 degrees, and the National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory until 2:30 a.m.
