Goodwill Offering Spook-tacular Halloween Costumes

MERS/Goodwill knows that the scariest thing about Halloween is paying too much money for an overpriced costume at a specialty Halloween shop. That’s why the organization offers a variety of cost-conscious options for this year’s shoppers to build unique and fun costumes for the whole family. To spark ideas for shoppers in the 2011 season, MERS/Goodwill has chosen its top five costume ideas for which all items can be found at one of their stores.

“No matter what you want to be, Goodwill has the clothing and accessories for a one-of-a-kind costume,” said Dr. Lewis Chartock, President and CEO of MERS/Goodwill. “Donate last year’s costume to give it new life, and then stop in to one of our stores to find a fresh new costume.”

MERS/Goodwill’s top picks for Halloween 2011 include a mix of classic get-ups and pop culture icons. All clothing items needed for the costumes can be found at any of MERS/Goodwill’s 40 retail locations in the bi-state area.
