Crime Report: Cocaine, Meth Found on Traffic Stop

The St. Louis County Police crime report from June 26 to July 2 includes incidents occurring in Mehlville, Oakville and Lemay.

June 26

  • More than $500 worth of clothing was reported stolen from the . 
  • A bicycle was reported stolen from the 6400 block of Fordyce Bluffs Drive. 
  • Police received an anonymous call of a person lying in the street on Wachtel Avenue. . Witnesses stated they had seen the female in the area before but did not know her name. 

June 27

  • A purse, credit card, driver's license and medication were reported stolen from the 100 block of Lemay Ferry Road. 
  • At 10:20 p.m., a female reported that a suspicious man began following her at Berview and Barracksview Road. The man was wearing all black. Police located and identified the suspect, who lives close to the area. The suspect admitted to walking behind the woman. Police said the suspect has a schizoaffective disorder, but was coherent and not a danger to himself or others. The suspect had previously been issued a summons for trespassing on Evergreen Lane earlier this month.

  • . The suspect fled the scene south on Union driving a grey, late-model GMC truck.
  • A purse and credit cards were reported stolen from .
  • Money and jewelry was reported stolen from the 4800 block of Mehl Avenue.  
  • A yellow, Suzuki dirt bike was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Telford Drive. 
  • Prescription medication was reported stolen from the 10000 block of Kennerly Road. 

June 30

  • Police arrested a suspect for domestic assault in the first degree. The victim was stabbed on the 9500 block of Clyde Avenue. 
  • A victim was struck, choked and bit by an assailant on the 3200 block of Yaeger Road. 
  • Clothing was reported stolen from the South County Mall. 
  • A victim was walking north on Kingston Drive when a bald, black male with several gold front teeth grabbed her from behind. He was approximately 6 feet tall, 150 to 180 pounds wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. She fought him off and ran south on Kingston Drive. The suspect did not pursue and an area canvas had negative results. 
  • Suspects in a green, 1992 Subaru were pulled over for a traffic violation at Telegraph and Brilliant Lane. Police found materials to make meth on all three people in the vehicle. Materials included Coleman fuel from Walmart and one suspect had possession of crack cocaine. The Drug Unit responded and seized all drug-related items. 

July 1

  • A white, 1996 Ford F-350 (7FD454) was reported stolen from the 9600 block of Broadway Avenue. 
  • Medication and money was reported stolen from the 4000 block of Lemay Ferry Road. 

July 2

  • A victim was choked and punched on the 1000 block of Vuecrest Lane. 
  • Electronics, medication, beer, toys and household goods were reported stolen from the 4000 block of Lemay Ferry Road.
