The Hancock Place School District is hosting a Community Thanksgiving Dinner FREE to the public. The event is set for Sunday, November 20, 2011,  1-5 p.m. at Hancock Elementary School located at 9101 S. Broadway in Lemay.
This event is sponsored by the Hancock Place School District, Compass Group, Old Tyme Produce, IBC, VF Solutions, Chartwells and Prairie Farms. The menu for the community dinner will include turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, green beans, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie.
A toy drive and canned food drive benefiting the Giving Tree and Feed My People will coincide with the event.Â
