The musical talents of three Mehlville High School flute players will be featured on Monday, March 19, during the Missouri History Museum’s History to our Ears community concert. Seniors Jessica Colvin, Jenna Folluo and Emily Hall will perform among students from across the St. Louis area in kindergarten through 12th-grade during the free concert, which will be held in the museum’s Lee Auditorium at 7 p.m.
To participate in this opportunity, Colvin, Folluo and Hall submitted an application and recording of their flute trio to be considered for the Missouri History Museum’s masterclass with PROJECT Trio on March 5. PROJECT Trio is a passionate, high energy chamber music ensemble comprised of three virtuosic composer/performers from Brooklyn, N.Y. The masterclass engaged students in creativity and critical thinking and qualified them to perform at the History to our Ears concert.Â
The History to our Ears concert will feature an evening of music that celebrates Missouri’s history and communities. For more information about the concert, visitwww.mohistory.org. To learn more about PROJECT Trio, visit www.projecttrio.com.
