Headed North? MoDOT Is Planning Lane Closures on I-55

If you are heading north on Interstate 55 this week, be prepared for a slowdown.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will be closing various lanes of the highway Tuesday through Friday north of Reavis Barracks and the Union Road bridge. The lanes will be closed so crews can paint the new bridge.

On northbound I-55, two lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on southbound I-55, two lanes will be closed from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weather permitting.
