Man Leaving Jail Sends Text Saying He'd Kill His Fiancé

Noah Leyva was charged last month with assaulting the woman at their Oakville home. Police say that after leaving jail, he began texting his fiancé, telling her he was on his way to shoot her with a gun.

An Oakville man previously charged with assaulting his fiancé now is accused of harassing her by telling her he was coming to kill her.

Noah Pete Leyva, 40, was charged Tuesday with harassment.

St. Louis County Police said the threats started Sunday shortly after Leyva was released from jail on bond.
