Mehlville Fire Sells Old House to Church

The has sold one of its two old firehouses, the board announced at its meeting Wednesday.

Gateway House of Prayer purchased the old House No. 3 at 11625 Sappington Barracks Road for $200,000. The church is currently located at 4646 South Lindbergh. 

. It includes a training tower, three bays for trucks and gear, and cost $2.2 million.

Also for sale is the old House No. 4 at 13106 Tesson Ferry Road. Both houses were replaced by new facilities in 2012 and 2011 due to space constraints.

The new House 4 is just a short distance south of the old one at 13117 Tesson Ferry Road.
