Mehlville's population decreased by 1.5 percent over the last 10 years, according to the latest headcount by the U.S. Census Bureau.
That data shows that Mehville had 28,822 residents in 2000, compared with only 28,380 in 2010 --Â a decrease of 442.
Mehlville's numbers are in line with the overall trend in St. Louis County, which had a 1.7 percent decline in population.
