New Principal for Buerkle Middle School

Jim Kern will serve as the new principal for Margaret Buerkle Middle School, Mehlville School District Superintendent Eric Knost announced last week during the Board of Education meeting.

Kern has been with the district for 16 years, Knost said, most recently as an assistant principal at Oakville High School. He's also served as a teacher and baseball and softball coach. 

"I don't know of any enemies Jim has," Knost said at the meeting. "He's a uniter, somebody that works well with a lot of folks."
