One Woman Killed in ATV Accident on Koch Road

A woman is dead after an ATV collided with an Amtrak train at 4144 Koch Road Saturday night around 8 p.m. 

Patricia Dempsey, 28, was riding as a passenger on the ATV when struck by the train. The 32-year-old male driver was airlifted to another hospital and is expected to survive. Dempsey was transported to , where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Dempsey is from Imperial, MO, in Jefferson County; police have not released the identity of the driver.
