Resident Charged With Starting Fire at Brazilia Apartments in Oakville

Charitta Arman was charged Tuesday with first-degree arson.

An Oakville woman was charged for setting fire to her bedroom at Brazilia Apartments on Sunday.

Charitta Arman, 23, of the 4200 block of Casa Brazilia Drive in Oakville, was charged Tuesday with first-degree arson.

St. Louis County Police said Arman admitted starting a fire in her bedroom. Other people were in the apartment building at the time, police said.

Arman is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $75,000, cash only.
