Adopt a Pet: Meet Zoe the Cat

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Zoe is a purebred Ragdoll female cat. She is declawed on all four paws, so it is very important that she is never allowed to get outside, as she won't be able to defend herself. All Paws volunteers say Zoe loves to be with her people.

Her foster mom says she is a gentle soul, and Iwould be fine in any home that would be patient and loving with her. Zoe is probably best as an only pet, but she does well in her foster home with two small, older dogs and multiple cats.

Volunteers say Zoe would be happy to cuddle with family members once she got used to everyone, but it might take a while - Zoe is shy at first. Zoe lived with a family with children, but she did not like the new puppy that came into the family.
