
FZN Senior Luke Burgard recently finished 4th in the MSHSAA Class 1 Diving Championships. It was the second state medal for Burgard who will leave his mark as the most accomplished diver in school history.

Overall Luke Burgard dominated the dive competition all four years of his high school career. He broke the school 6 and 11 dive records 12 times. All four years he finished in 1st place, earning the GAC 1st Team honors. All four years qualifying for District and State postseason competitions. His Sophomore year he finished in 11th place at State, Junior year he finished in 6th place at State, earning 2nd Team All-State. During Luke’s Senior year he was the District Dive Champion and finished 4th in at State earning 1st All-State Honors. He worked hard in the classroom and was an All-Academic Conference Athlete all four years.
