FZN Panther Players to present "Pride and Prejudice."

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 16-18 at 7pm, the FZN Panther Players will present Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." This isn't your grandmother's Austen!

Fast-paced and definitely silly at times, this version of the classic tale follows the Bennet family as they navigate the ever-important trials and tribulations of courtship. With no male heirs in the family, Mrs. Bennet (Nataleigh Daleen) is determined to secure profitable futures for her daughters, much to the distress of her most independent daughter, Elizabeth (Peyton Dydell). While Jane Bennet (Melak Hadi) catches the eye of the always-happy Mr. Bingley (Evan Nigus) - Bingley's stoic friend Mr. Darcy (Xavier Monnig) is constantly at odds with the outspoken Elizabeth.

Is the conflict actually an attraction in disguise? Will Elizabeth fall for the charms of Mr. Wickham (Charlie Nutter), or marry Mr. Collins (Cody Miller) to keep the estate in the family? Will family friend Charlotte Lucas (Marshae Hogue) find a match? Will Lydia (Baylie Roberts) and Mary Bennet (Ren Meeks) ever stop fighting? Will Lady Catherine DeBourgh (Abby Hixenbaugh) and her strangely shrouded daughter Anne (Julia Pirondi) ruin Elizabeth's chance at happiness?
