FZN Panther Pride Band wraps up the 2024 season on a high note!
The FZN marching band impresses at the Band of America competition.
On the final weekend of October, the Fort Zumwalt North Panther Pride Marching Band traveled to the Dome at America's Center in St Louis for the Bands of America St Louis Super Regional, a championship level event featuring 70 bands from 14 states. The band performed an incredible show on Friday night and earned 5th place of 33 bands in class 2A. At a show featuring all of the major bands from the area, FZN's score of 77.95 placed them as the 2nd best band of 2024 in the St Louis metro area and the 4th best band in the state of Missouri, regardless of class.
It has been an outstanding year for the band, winning local competitions in O'Fallon, IL and Washington and then finishing up by holding their own in two national competitions in Indianapolis and St. Louis.
The band staff includes Patrick Stewart, Matt Schultz, Rick Breyer, Alyssa Thompson, Shelby Murray, Ethan Munro, and Bryan White. Featured soloists for this year's show were Ava Fanning, Lily Moyer, Matthew Townsel, Tyler McDonald, Emma Breeze, Natalie Rose, and Mya Tannehill.
