On January 4th-6th, the Fort Zumwalt North Thespian Troupe #5140 traveled to Kansas City to attend the annual Missouri Thespian Conference. The troupe’s numerous activities and service projects throughout the year once again earned them the distinction of being named a Missouri Honor Troupe.

Also, students had the opportunity to attend workshops hosted by alumni Zach Brunkhorst! Zach, a 2017 graduate of FZN, and a proud member of Troupe 5140, is now a New York City based Stage Manager. He spent the last 11 months stage managing Punchdrunk’s off Broadway production, Sleep No More. He was able to share his experiences from land and sea and his work from several cities in the US and the Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Overall, FZN Troupe 5140 had a very successful weekend at the conference. Come out and see our students in action on February 8th, 9th and 10th in the winter production Fools, by Neil Simon.
