O'Fallon Crews Begin Sewer Line Rehabilitation This Week
The project is designed to eliminate leaks or infiltration into the sewer line and extend the city's wastewater plant treatment capacity.

O’Fallon crews are scheduled to begin sewer line rehabilitation work this week. According to a news release, the work calls for lining 10,300 feet of existing sewer pipe and will start in and continue to Pearl Drive, ending near the entrance to MEMC.
The lining will be installed inside the pipe through manhole covers. No excavating will be involved, and portable pumps will be used to bypass the flow during the installation.
The project is designed to eliminate leaks or infiltration into the sewer line and extend the City’s wastewater plant treatment capacity. The work will be carried out by SAK Construction and is expected to be completed in April, weather permitting.
