Panther grapplers reach the century mark!

FZN wrestlers: Jailyn Ebert, Kayla Hobday and Nate Provost, all recently recorded their 100th win for the Panther wrestling program.

Ebert, a senior, became the first female wrestler in program history, girls wrestling began during the 2018 – 2019 season, to accomplish the milestone at the Fort Zumwalt East tournament held on December 15th. Ebert is a two-time state qualifier, placing 6th in 2022. Hobday wasn’t far behind, as she notched victory 100th victory on December 20th. Hobday was a state qualifier a season ago, and joins her uncle, Tim Dames - Class of 2001, in the Panther wrestling century club. Both Ebert and Hobday have competed on the Panther varsity squad in each of the last four seasons.

Provost, a junior, recorded his 99th and 100th victories in a double dual against Desmet and SLUH held on January 9th. Provost is already a two-time “All-State” Wrestler after having finished 6th (2022) and 4th (2023) at the last two state tournaments.
