FZN football captures their 10th conference title under Coach Joe Bacon.

The Fort Zumwalt North football team defeated rival Fort Zumwalt South last Friday by a score of 21 - 14 . The victory secured the Panthers a share of the GAC Central conference title. It is the ninth conference title in the last ten years for the football program. The program has won a total of ten conference titles under the guidance of Coach Joe Bacon, who had previously seen his teams win titles in the years: 2011, 2014 - 2021, and 2023. Additionally, with the victory over South, the Panthers maintained possession of the traveling helmet trophy awarded to the winner of the regular season game between the two schools. The trophy was first awarded in 1997. The Panthers have won the last 11 regular season meetings, the longest such streak in the series.

Against South, points were hard to come by for both teams. However, the Panthers did put up a total of 352 yards of offense.
