Halloween 2012: When Is Trick Or Treating In Olivette

Because Halloween falls on a weekday in 2012, most trick-or-treating will occur on a weekday in Olivette and across St. Louis, but there are some fun opportunities before October 31 to have Halloween fun.

The city's annual Boo Bash will be held Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Olivette Community Center. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for children.

Immanuel Lutheran Church will hold a Trunk Or Treat, courtesy of Cub Scout Pack 664. In addition to passing out candy, there will be costume and car decoration contests. Admission is $5, not including pizza which can be purchased on site.

On October 31, most young children will begin trick-or-treating just before sunset while older kids will likely stay out a little longer in the evening. Sunset for Halloween is expected at 6:02 p.m., according to The Weather Channel. The channel's forecast is a high of 61 degrees and a low of 45 degrees, with no rain expected at this time.
