New Info in Smoke Land Burglary: Olivette Man Grabbed Cigarettes, Police Say
Nathaniel Miller, who lived near the cigarette and liquor store, is being held in St. Louis County jail on a $45,000 bond.

An Olivette man faces criminal charged for two smash-and-grab burglaries at Smoke Land, a liquor and cigarette store at 9495 Olive Blvd.
Patch reported earlier that Nathaniel Miller, 20, of the 9400 block of Olive Boulevard in Olivette, was charged Feb. 6 with two counts of second-degree burglary and two counts of felony theft.
Olivette Police said Miller smashed out a window at the business at 12:38 a.m. Jan. 15, stole a cash register containing $350 in cash and five packs of cigarettes.

Police said Miller also smashed a window at the same store and took the cash register containing $20 in cash at 1:12 a.m. Jan. 29.
Total value of the thefts, including the cash register, was more than $1,000 police said.

The thefts were captured on video surveillance. According to a police report, Miller admitted to the first burglary. Police said video surveillance shows the same person burglarized the store on both occasions.
Miller is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $45,000.
