Olivette on The Go This Weekend - Come Out For Food and Fun!

The City of Olivette is holidng Olivette on the Go next weekend. Come out to the annual fall festival Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This year, the festival added a talent contest and car show.

The free family festival takes place this Friday, Sept. 27 -Β Sunday, Sept. 29Β at Olivette'sΒ Stacy Park on the corner of Olive Boulevard and Old Bonhomme Road.

The City of Olivette is hosting a community-wide festival,Β β€œOlivette on the Go,” toΒ celebrate the residents and businesses that reside in the city and beyond.

The festival features a wide array of live music, local food, games and carnival rides.Β Kim Massie, popular blues diva, will headline on the main stageΒ SaturdayΒ evening, followed by the Grateful Dead tribute bandΒ Jake’s LegΒ on Sunday.

$22 registration fee for 5K run, $7 registration fee for Fun Run.

Outside food/drink and pets are not allowed.

This year, The City of Olivette announces the first-everΒ β€œOlivette’s Got Talent” contest. The contest is open to all. Selected participants will advance to compete live at the festival. Round one will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, with the final round and award ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The festival also launches its firstΒ annualΒ car showΒ taking placeΒ Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 3 p.m.Β The first 75 cars will receive dash plaques. Trophies will be awarded to the winners.Β
