Police Log: Upset At Animal Control & Chasing A Child With A Knife

A juvenile student struck a police officer after police were called to respond to the school for a disturbance in the 9100 block of Old Bonhomme.

February 11

Subject arrested for stealing less than $500 of scrap metal from a business on Baur Blvd.

February 7

• Police seized a pair of knives brought to school in the 9100 block of Old Bonhomme.

• Subject attempted to fraudulently obtain a prescription from Walgreens pharmacy by calling in a prescription and impersonating a doctor. The case is under investigation.

A man was asked not to return to the St. Louis County Animal Control facility after he became irate over fines incurred by his dog.

February 5

A woman was arrested after chasing her 10 year old child with a knife and making threats. The child was not injured and is staying with family.

February 4

• An elderly woman was missing from an area of Dielman Road in the middle of the night and was located after six hours.  The woman was taken to a local hospital.
• Unknown subjects entered a home on Dielman Rd. while residents were asleep and stole a purse, clothing and electronics valued at more than $500.
