What Should Go Here? The Jade Garden Location
It's been closed at least two and a half years. What would you like to see move into this spot? And what should happen to those golden dragons. Or are they lions?
The old Jade Garden restaurant has seen better days. Its woodwork is fading, peeling and cracking from more than two and a half years of neglect. The lobby is stuffed with abandoned goods. A neon "open" sign hangs in the window, perpectually unlighted. Roof tiles are peeling off the top of the building.
But the golden dragons (or are they lions) are still perched at attention, watching over the front of the building.
Olivette City Manager Mike McDowell told Patch there were no plans yet for the property that he's heard about it. How about you? What should happen there? What would you like to see at that location? And what should happen to those golden dragons? What should go here?
