
Get those windpipes ready for some singing— Fox’s American Idol is coming to St. Louis. The television show will hold auditions Tuesday at the Scotttrade Center. Interested singers can register for the auditions on Sunday and Monday, the show’s website states. Riverfront Times reported camping outside the audition area will not be allowed.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Saturday that auditions are open to people between ages 15 and 28. Those who register will get a wristband, the paper reported.
But those expecting to meet judges like Steven Tyler or Jenifer Lopez will be disappointed. The Chicago Sun-Times reported American Idol producers will evaluate this part of the process.

Last season Scotty McCreery took home first place on American Idol, the Huffington Poststated. The website said the Garner, N.C. resident was 17 years old when won the competition.
