A companion to the YMCA’s LIVESTRONG program, these exercise classes provide an opportunity for patients and survivors to create a supportive social network and help them move beyond their cancer in spirit, mind and body.
Patients are welcome to participate anytime during their treatment. Survivors are welcome to participate after they have completed the LIVESTRONG program. The classes are FREE for breast cancer patients or survivors. All other cancer patients or survivors receive a discounted rate. The SSM Cancer Care companion classes for breast cancer patients and survivors are made possible by a grant from the Karen Weidinger Foundation.
All participants must have a referral from their SSM Cancer Care or SSM Breast Care physician. Stop by the YMCA service center or call the St. Charles YMCA at 636-928-1928 or the O’Fallon YMCA at 636-379-0092 to register.
