
St. Charles is holding audtions for Christmas Traditions characters at the Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau Aug. 24 and 25. Callbacks will be scheduled Aug. 26.

Male actors
- Two Tiny Tim actors (age 7-11) who must be able to do or learn a British accent.
- Elf (age 16 and up).
- Cockney Chestnut Roaster (age 16 and up) who must be able to learn or do a cockney accent.
- Nutcracker prince (age 16 and up).
- Town Crier (age 16 and up).
- Bob Cratchet (age 20 and up) who must be able to do or learn a British accent.
- German Santa Kris Kringle (age 20 and up) who must be able to do or learn a a German accent.
- Scrooge (age 40 and up) who must be able to do or learn a light British accent.
- World War II Santa (ages 40 and up).

- Clara (age 16 and up), youthful look preferred.
- Sugar Plum Fairy (age 16 and up).
- Cockney Flower Girl (age 16 and up) who must be able to learn or do a cockney accent.
- Reindeer flight instructor (age 16 and up).
- Esther Lange - Photographer (age 16 and up).
- Elf (age 16 and up).
- Virginia O'Hanlon (age 16 and up), youthful look preferred.
- Ice Queen (age 20 and up).
- Mrs. Claus (age 40 and up).
Christmas Carolers:
Candidates must have experience singing in small and large ensembles, learn music quickly and interact with public. Vocal callbacks are at 1 p.m. Aug. 26 and are mandatory.
Positions are paid $11 per hour for perofrmance dates and rehearsals.
