Around Town: See Bark, Steel Twisted into Something New

St. Charles artist turns natural materials into sculptures.

Sculpture artist Adam Long will display pieces he's created during the last six years in Gallery 501 at Art Glass Array, 501 North Kingshighway, St. Charles, MO.

The exhibition, called Trees in Motion, runs June 8 to July 6.

Long uses bark, sticks and acorns in his sculptures which are built on a frame made of branches and steel. He then applies clay and covers it in natural materials.
