Community Plans Fundraisers to Benefit Survivor of Fire
Several fundraising events are scheduled for Aug. 27 and 28.
Friends and family members gathered on Tuesday to stay goodbye to the four people who died after their house caught fire on date.
Cameron Gresham, 27, Lauren Zwilling, 30, and their children Maren Gresham, 2, and Quentin Gresham, 8, died during the days that followed . The only survivor of the fire, , 11, managed to escape from the house and was released from the hospital last weekend.
Although the community honored their memory with a balloon release, many continue to offer support for Dominic Zwilling and the extended family members of those who died.

Several fundraisers have already been held to benefit the family. Students who attend Jefferson Intermediate School paid $1 for the ability to wear a hat at school.
Neighbors held a bake sale and lemonade stand, according to a story on St. Louis CBS Local.

Upcoming Fundraisers:
- will hold a barbecue on the property of from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Members of the Fire Department will hold "boots" out at the intersection of Elm and Hawthorn in which people can contribute donations for the family. Proceeds for the barbecue will benefit Dominic Zwilling.
- Community member Holly Locke, whose children attended elementary school with 8-year-old Quentin Zwilling, helped organize two fundraisers at Texas Roadhouse in St. Charles on the evenings of Sept. 7 and Sept. 8.
- The Fifth Grade Gold St. Charles Titans Football team is hosting a fundraiser and car wash from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at , 800 South Duchesne in St. Charles.
Two trust funds have been set up to help the families:
Vantage Credit Union is accepting donations for Cameron Gresham and Lauren Zwilling Trust Fund.
Donations for Dominic Zwilling can be made to the "Robert Dominic Zwilling Fund" at a US Bank.
For those wanting to help, memorial donations may be made at any Vantage Credit Union in care of the Cameron Gresham and Lauren Zwilling Trust Fund.
Non-monetary donations can be dropped off for Dominic at One Way Construction, 4348 Rider Trail North, Earth City, MO.
