The Christmas holiday season is associated with joy and celebration, but for those of us who have suffered the loss of a loved one, especially within the past year, that joy is indelibly tainted with sorrow. Amidst everyone’s ebullience, we may feel out of place.
We invite you to our Blue Christmas service on December 18 at 4 p.m. We seek to provide you a time of seasonal worship that acknowledges where we are at this time of year.
This special service makes space for us to recognize our pains and losses, to remember and honor our departed loved ones. We invite you to come that evening as we share scripture, pray, light candles, and celebrate communion together.
