Hearings are an opportunity to receive comments on the city’s housing and non-housing community needs and strengths.
WHO: The city of St. Charles will hold several public hearings through November 2011 to receive comments on the city’s housing and non-housing community needs and strengths, particularly as they relate to the Community Development Block Grant programs, HOME Consortium, NSP, and LIWAP programs (see further descriptions below).
WHAT: These meetings are being held in accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan for Implementation of the Consolidated Planning process associated with the Five-Year Action Plans for program years beginning on January 1, 2012 and ending on December 31, 2017, in support of:
. Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)
. Uses of the HOME funds under the St. Louis County HOME Consortium
. Uses of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds, and for
. Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program (LIWAP) funds
ALSO: The city of St. Charles offers all interested citizens the opportunity to give written and/or oral comments on public matters.
